For this collection we wanted to do something different from what we are used to and what we already know, something big and with great impact, we went out of our comfort zone and played with new elements to give life to what is now Resort '22.
We introduced a new natural fiber to our portfolio; Fique Fiber, grown and processed naturally in the Andean area of Colombia; its tincture comes from natural sources such as plants and fruits. The head of the group of artisans in charge is Elvia, located in Santander, she has been knitting for more than 20 years and we are happy to collaborate with her on this occasion.
At the same time we continue working with fibers and materials already known and used in past collections such as the Iraca Palm, the Copper thread and the Silk Galón used to weave our skirts and dresses in Macramé. For this collection we also gave a lot of prominence to the satin rope seen in our Emma bag and Emily bucket bag.
For the photographic production we also left the known and studio photos and traveled to a tropical paradise: Tierra Bomba Island in Cartagena, which gave us incredible landscapes resulting in photographs with a lot of color and good vibes. We worked hand in hand with a great team led by photographer Oliver Olivella, achieving fantastic images that we hope you enjoy as much as we enjoy making them.
